Temporary Postponement of Creating a Harassment-Free Workplace (HFW) Workshop

The JLP is currently studying recent case law on harassment, discrimination and violence in the workplace and we are closely monitoring the policy and legislative changes that will be introduced with Bill C-65, An Act to amend the Canada Labour Code (harassment and violence). With its adoption in the near future, this new legislation will strengthen the existing framework for the prevention of harassment and violence, including sexual violence and harassment in the workplace. 

We anticipate being able to offer the updated workshop in the new fiscal year. Please note that if you have scheduled a HFW workshop after August 1st, it will be postponed until the updates have been finalized and the workshop is re-launched.

This decision comes as a result of great consideration about the integrity of the Program. The JLP is committed to ensuring that our workshops are accurate and current.
